Keep tracking your CPAP progress.
By regularly tracking your daytime alertness, you can see how regular CPAP usage is improving your day-to-day well-being. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale and the Stanford Sleepiness Scale will help you to help you monitor the improvements in your daytime alertness while using CPAP.
Those new to CPAP through Intus will have one of each included in the Setting Up and Settling In CPAP guide provided with their machine. Regularly completing one, or both, of the scales will allow you to assess the benefits accurately.
We recommend completing one of these forms at least once a week, keeping all completed forms so that you can see how the numbers are changing over a period of time.
You can also assess your CPAP progress by sending us your machine’s data for analysis. We can see how effective the CPAP machine is being for your condition, and see if the settings can be tweaked to improve it further.
